Work great on tungsten
I get nice electrode tips out of these, freehand with a Dremel. Use a light touch and move the point around to keep the heat low. They are thin but work fine nonetheless.

They Dont replace the Sharpie brand
The diamond coated surface does not extend to the center deep enough to make them a worthwhile replacement for the “Sharpie” brand. I bought these to compare. They wound up in the Dremel box not in the Sharpie box.

Eastwood Tungsten Sharpening Replacement
These are a direct replacement for the diamond wheels on the Eastwood Tungsten Sharpener…at a fraction of what Eastwood charges for theirs.

If you already own a dremel and can guess your tungsten tip angle, you can save a bunch of cash and just buy these diamond wheels.

Quick tip. Chuck your tungsten into your cordless drill and pinch your dremel in a vice (Im sure its good for it). Quick easy sharp tungsten. If you take your tungsten swimming as much as I do, youll thank me later.

Tip #2. Set your shopvac hose under the dremel in the vice. It catches the powdered tungsten thats a byproduct of grinding. Rumor has it tungsten dust is pretty hard on your lungs.

I use this to sharpen 3/32 tungsten turn the drill in reverse on low speed while use this grinder works great

Works great for the sharpie model , fits everything perfect, just need to adjust the mandrel , so you can get to fit the tungsten properly

Have used only a few times. Further usage will be increased to see if durability is good. Will update in future.

Tungsten Rod Grinding fixture deficient
The most important part of this tool, the machined alum fixture for aligning the tungsten rods is smaller and deficient in design versus the stand-alone fixture w/ plexi guard that is sold separately from the electric grinder tool.
