EXCELLENT product – Strips vinyl decal / no damage to underlying paint. Like magic, really. Weird.
So – I bought a couple of Ford Police Interceptor Utility vehicles. They both still had the entire roofs covered in white, cracking vinyl and some remaining vinyl from the police insignias on the sides of the vehicle. LOTS of vinyl to remove. At first I tried a metal putty knife/razor…some nicking/scraping of paint inevitable. Too much collateral damage. Then I tried the hair dryer and just pulling it off – worked better but it was tedious and hot and took a while. Still looking for a faster way, I decided to gamble the little bit this decal remover wheel cost despite being very very skeptical…and MAN – it was like magic. Attached wheel to my Mikasa 3/8″ drive corded drill and went to town on the roofs. The wheel scrubbed away the vinyl and – WEIRDLY – didnt even nick the underlying paint. Pretty amazing. Lots of elbow grease, but after that all I had to do was give the scrubbed area a paint-thinner-soaked cloth wipe down to get rid of the residual adhesive material. And VOILA! vinyl all gone and car roof looked fantastic! So far Ive scrubbed off about 8 sq. yards of vinyl and the wheel shows some but not much wearing away.
Thanks.

It does the job
I used it to remove the vinyl wrap on the roof of my car. It was a pain to remove the vinyl because I had to keep a lot of pressure on it as I move it back and forth. It took me all day just to work on the roof of the car.

Be sure to start at top and come down
Very essay to use I used it on a variable speed buffer which worked real well, the speed is very important too fast or too slow dont work well, I cleaned the sides of 14 x8 tall enclosed trailer and still had about 2/3 of wheel left. Definitely would recommend.

Worked surprisingly well
I was surprised how well this worked on getting a few old decals off my car. Took me less than 10 minutes paired with my kobalt drill. Worth the price. Great buy!

Be careful
I didnt realize it would take off clearcoat and paint, although in hindsight it should have been obvious to me. So take it easy with this eraser wheel.
