At high speed, CVT oil may show overheat. In order to solve this problem, we innovated by adding an air-cooled device (similar to an engine/air conditioning radiator) to the original CVT oil-water cooling. But you need to replace your original water-cooling device (as shown in the picture), which has two more interfaces than the original device. This is the CVT oil flowing through the pipeline, through the external oil pipe to the air-cooled radiator, and then back to the water-cooling device, into the CTV. Through the water-cooled and air-cooled two-way devices, CVT oil is effectively maintained at normal temperature, thus solving the problem of overheating.
This change is simple to install, only need to replace the original water cooling device, after the purchase of the installation, connected to the water pipe; then the air-cooled radiator fixed in the original cooling device of the water tank or heat sink network, and finally, the oil pipe can be used.

Fixes the Nissan CVT overheating issue.
Perfect fit, part of the fix for the Nissan CVT overheating problem many have encountered. A road trip to Vegas going up I-15 in 110 degree heat, and no limp mode or tranny whine issues. This part with a good transmission cooler is all you need.

Doesn’t work on Nissan
Sorry guys, this is not the fix for JATCO transmissions. 120 miles in Im writing this review from the side of the road because Im back in limp mode. This will catch up to Nissan and theyll have to spend several years rebuilding their brand and regaining consumers trust-just like Ford and GM after 80s and 90s.
My car is a 2011 Rogue with 90k miles. Between fluids and parts Im out about $300 and a couple hours of time

Good product, works perfectly
A pain in the rear to install, but the product worked great. Wish I would have installed it sooner. I paired it up with a generic tranny cooler. Happy I did it, but never want to again. The product is exactly as described. Good quality.

I had no issues with the installation.
Perfect fit. Works as intended.

Works great!!
My 09 nissan Muranos transmission would over heat on 2hr drives on the highway. Would have to pull over twice to allow the trans to cool down. Would also go into limp mode. After installing this part all the problems went away! You will need to mount and install a external transmission cooler as well!

Leaked – warped mating surface
(1) The CVT fluid cooler that I received and installed leaked after test drive, troubleshooting recheck, and then another test drive. We removed it, made a more thorough inspection and discovered that its mating surface was warped with a slight concave shape between the four mounting bolt holes. Because of this, we believe the cooler and its included o-ring could not form a leak-free seal under cvt fluid operating temps/pressures.
(2) Furthermore, though product description and the packaging stated new, upon unboxing we noted that this item appeared used with scratches and an unpolished poor quality finish on the mating surface and dings and roughness along the edges.
As comparison, the OEM coolers mating / O-ring surface is absolutely flat and is leak free. Fyi, this job is per Nissan TSB 13-095c. Returning this item and hoping the replacement from Amzn is good.

Pre 2014 rogue models and Rogue select.
Not for 2014 gen 2 rogues. They already come with a 4 port. This is for the Rogue select or pre 2014 models. The 2014 gen2s have this and still have issues with overheating trans. Just buy a trans oil cooler.

Same as the Pros
Save your CVT transmission from destined failure. This is the same style that the pros use. Had to 2 different failures 2 months apart. This is the same cooler that the transmission shop added. Bought this one to be saved from a 3rd Nissan failure.

So far so good
Added this to my daughters rogue, along with an additional oil cooler behind the grill. So far, no more overheating, and going in to limp mode. But itll be late summer before we really know how much difference it really makes. Word of advice, these vehicles have 2 transmission filters. One of them is located behind the oil cooler. Pick up a new one before you install this item. It literally take 10 seconds to install the new filter, if you have it on hand. Filter was $12 at the local parts store

Works just as described
Its a great replacement to add an external cooler. I read some reviews where it leaked on some people for being uneven at the base plate. I think that could be installation errors. Just to let you know it doesnt come with the external cooler.

Coolant line pointing the wrong direction, this will not work on a Nissan Juke
The bottom coolant line on this cooler is pointed 180 degrees off from the original part on my 2014 Nissan Juke. It says it fits my car accordingto the application chart, it doesnt. My original coolant line will kink and cut off circulation if I try to install it. Trying to find a custom shaped hose will be difficult because the parts shops can only look up parts by year make and model, and the oem parts no longer works thanks to the way this cooler is designed
