Worked perfectly. I had to remove and reattach one of the pieces but after that it was fine. I added 2.5 cans of coolant and the AC has been great for a few months now. I would have put a vacuum on it first but didnt expect it to work. Saved me quite a bit of money for now.

I wasnt in the mood or ready to invest the time to replace the lines to the rear of my suburban which developed a pretty substantial leak. This got my a/c system back up and running for the summer. Quick install, leak free.

Fit my 2006 Yukon XL perfectly. Supplied gaskets looked to be at least the same quality that I had on hand so I used them with a bit of nylog. Took maybe 5 minutes total, evacuating and recharging is the longest part of this job. I added 26oz of refrigerant and system is running at GMs specified pressures.

May have been pointless, but I plugged the now unused lines with silicone stoppers to keep the lines from picking up debris under the hood. Maybe someday Ill fix the rear system.

Lube the O rings/seals
Unlike my previous purchase, this one installed easily on the suction line. I had to purchase a new suction line because I damaged the old one trying to install the previously purchased block.

What ever you do, if your not concerned with rear AC, dont pay the money for a new line install. These factory lines were a mistake from the beginning. Aluminum lines with steel brackets = corrosion. Corrosion equals leaks. The replacement rubber lines might be good, but they are also expensive. Car makers should be ashamed of themselves for building units bound to fail like these lines.

I charged my system last nigh and am putting out a nice cold output, from 48 to 55 deg. depending on the set point. If you have a SUV that develops these horrible leaks, give blocking off the rears a thought. It works well.

Didnt think it would work. But my a/c is nice and cool.

Fit OK, I returned them.
They will fit, but not super well. They are .008″ off stock, doesnt sound like much, but its not a great fit, itll wobble. There are better fits out there with the American made ones that are .0005 tolerance.

DO NOT BUY FOR A YUKON DENAlI
If you have a 2008 Yukon Denali XL do not purchase these they do not fit it is loose and leaks
