- This grinding tool with widely applicable sizes. The Lastest design is available for 6 sizes of tungsten needles: 040″, 1/16″, 5/64″, 3/32″, 1/8″, 5/32″ (1mm, 1.6mm, 2mm, 2.4mm, 3.2mm, 4mm); Each size can grind 4 tip angles: 15° 18° 22.5° 30° (30° 36° 45° 60°).
- It is very light and convenient. But very strong and precise. All holes are stationary, so we can set an offset compensation for each size hole to make sure all tungsten’s tip center is on the grinding center point, this offset can ensure that the lines on the tip of the tungsten electrode are as straight as possible. If the hole position is variable, offset compensation cannot be set.
- The tungsten sharpening tool also has tungsten cut-off port processing. After the tungsten you are using is worn or contaminated, you can use the cut-off port for cutting so that you can use it again. Besides, A Flat Grinding Block is specially designed, can be used to grind a flat tip vertically, for use if needed.

Customer service for this tool is outstanding !!! I had a small issue , they swiftly responded and corrected it !!! Im impressed! This tool is conceptually excellent for any tig rig!!! If you want to save time or are sick of hitting the ol bench grinder ..give this tig jig a spin on your rig for any gig!!!

Best Solution for the Money!
This version just works. The diamond wheels seem to last quite well (I just sharpened sixteen 3/32 Lazyr tungstens with no wear shown). This seems to be the cheapest, purpose made tungsten sharpening solution. Fits all sizes of tungesten and sharpens them to any one of for angles for super pointy to more blunt cones.

Nice, simple to set up, easy to use. Hangs up next to my welding bench. Im new to TIG so it gets lots if use. Sure beats walking to the bench grinder. As far as durability, dont know yet. Just got it days ago.

Hard to beat for the price
Works well, grinding disks arent the highest quality but still get plenty of use out of em before their worn out, dremel style tool and tig grinding jig work well…….definitely worth buying if your going to start tig welding.

Beautiful CNC part, mediocre disks and an appalling power tool
This is a tale of two sides. The alluminium circular guide is beautiful. The disks work well but are cheaply made and dont run very true. The dremmel clone is dire, its hugely noisy and the speed control is virtually useless. Other than as a paperweight I dont see a use for it. On first turning it on it ran so far out of true it gouged a nasty groove in the main component. After fitting a proper dremmel and working hard on the alignment of the mandrel and disk it at least ran without chewing itself to bits. Whilst hand holding it was difficult to use and seemed to suck the tungsten into the unit but this was caused by vibration. After mounting the cnc guide in the vice (not the dremmel) it worked well and I sharpened about 25 tungstens with no need to slow down.
So, if I hadnt needed the 2mm hole one of the alternatives would have been better. The cnc main part is great, the mandrel is ok, the disks are poor in both flatness and true running but work. The dremmel clone is a disgrace and is not fit for purpose

As a typical male, I opened the package, put it together, used it, and threw away the manual (oops- forgot to read it!) Yup…it is simple and perfect for a lower priced tungsten grinder. You could pay more…but why?

Dislike:
1. The tungsten needs a hard push to get into the hole.
2. The cup gets really tight to remove and put back.
Verdict:
The hole for the tungsten needs to be improve so you dont need to fight to get it in. The cap cover needs to be modify.

Not worth the money
Used it a hand full of times and the front bearing locked up, only saving grace is besides the tungsten jig all it is is a dremal like tool

The dermal tool is garbage, the motor went out
The motor on the tool is garbage. Now its past the time of return so its worthless. Do not buy. Just buy the attachment for the sharpener. Do not buy the combo.

Youll get what you pay for.
It works great on new tungsten. Once the tungsten is slightly damaged it will not fit through the guide hole. The fact that this tool doesnt have a cutoff option makes this a real problem.The diamond discs are really poor quality.
